Launch Monitors That Work With Awesome Golf: The Subscription Nobody Mentions
Awesome Golf names 25 supported models, which is more than GSPro or E6 manage. Then its own documentation admits that three of the six brands will not connect until you are paying a different company.
Awesome Golf is the third simulator title we have checked that publishes a real device list, after GSPro and E6. It is also the best of the three at it. Six brands, 25 models, each named with the model number rather than the brand, on a documentation site rather than in a marketing sentence. We read those pages on August 4, 2026.
And then, on a separate page most buyers will never find, the same documentation says that three of those six brands need an active paid subscription with the hardware maker before Awesome Golf can talk to the device at all. That is the part worth your attention, so it goes first.
The connection gate, in Awesome Golf's own words
This is not a feature tier. It is not courses locked behind a paywall. Awesome Golf states that without the other company's subscription, the hardware does not connect. On Foresight: Awesome Golf Simulator is unable to connect to Foresight Sports Launch Monitors that are not subject to an active FSX Gold Subscription.

Half the supported brands are free to connect and half are not. Nothing on the compatibility list itself tells you which half your unit is in. That answer lives on a different page, under licences rather than compatibility, which is not where anyone shopping for a launch monitor is looking.
What it actually costs, added up
Awesome Golf publishes its own price and does not publish either of the two required subscriptions, because it does not set them. We went and got them. Every figure below was read on August 4, 2026.

One honest caveat on that last row. Foresight does not publish the FSX Gold price anywhere on its own site. Its support page names the tiers and lists no prices, and its help centre refuses automated reads outright. The $499 comes from Shop Indoor Golf's GC3S listing, which states it plainly: $499 a year for FSX Play and FSX Pro, with one year of Gold included in the purchase. We are citing a retailer because the manufacturer has left a gap where the number should be.
Two worked examples, because the total is the point
A Rapsodo MLM2PRO owner on the annual plans pays $159.99 to Awesome Golf and $199.99 to Rapsodo. That is $359.98 every year, forever, against a unit our catalog holds at $599.99. The software bill is 60 percent of the hardware price, annually.
A Bushnell LPi owner has it worse. $159.99 to Awesome Golf plus $499 for FSX Gold is $658.99 a year on a $1,999.99 device. Three years of that is $1,976.97, which lands within twenty five dollars of what the launch monitor cost in the first place.
A Square Golf Home owner at $699.99 pays $159.99 and nothing else. Same software, same year, under a quarter of the running cost. That difference has nothing to do with the quality of the device and everything to do with which company owns the connection.
The full list of supported models
Twenty five models across six brands, as Awesome Golf's compatibility documentation names them. We checked the master list against the per-brand pages for Foresight, Garmin and Square, and they agree.

The three FlightScope Range products are commercial driving-range installations rather than consumer units, which is why they are not in this archive and why no consumer price exists for them. They are on the list because compatibility lists are written for integrators, not shoppers.
Who is missing, and why that matters more than who is on it
SkyTrak, Uneekor, ProTee, TrackMan and Full Swing are all absent. So is every unit cheaper than the Garmin R10, which is the least expensive model on the whole list. Six brands is a narrower field than either GSPro or E6 claims, and the entry point sits higher.
SkyTrak is now the interesting case across all three of these guides. GSPro does not support it and says so. TruGolf's E6 does, and SkyTrak agrees. Awesome Golf simply does not name it either way. Three vendor lists, three different positions on the same popular device, which is a decent argument for checking the specific pairing you intend to buy rather than trusting any general claim about industry-wide compatibility.
How Awesome Golf prices against GSPro and E6

Awesome Golf is the cheapest of the three annually and the only one selling a lifetime licence. Against GSPro's $250 a year, the $349.99 lifetime pays for itself in about seventeen months. Against E6's Play tier it takes fourteen. If you already know you want this software, the arithmetic on the lifetime option is not close.
That comparison holds only for the software licence. If your device is one of the gated ones, the third-party subscription lands on top of every row in that table, and it does not have a lifetime option that Awesome Golf can sell you.

Common questions, answered directly
Does Awesome Golf work with SkyTrak?
Awesome Golf's compatibility documentation does not name SkyTrak, in either direction. That is not the same as a no, but it is not a yes, and we will not turn it into one. Ask before buying.
Why will my Bushnell not connect to Awesome Golf?
Most likely because the FSX Gold subscription has lapsed. Awesome Golf states that Foresight and Bushnell units require an active FSX Gold subscription for the launch monitor to connect and be used, or for the launch monitor to be unlocked. It is a connection requirement, not a feature upgrade.
Is the Awesome Golf lifetime licence worth it?
At $349.99 against $159.99 a year, it pays back in the third year of ownership. Compared against GSPro's annual $250 it pays back in about seventeen months. Both are unusually short paybacks by the standards of this category.
Do I need the Garmin Golf or Square Golf subscription too?
No. Awesome Golf explicitly states the Garmin Golf Membership, the FlightScope Pro Package and Square Golf Launch Monitor Credits are each not required for the launch monitor to be used with it.
The bottom line
Awesome Golf publishes the best device list of the three simulator titles we have checked, and the cheapest headline price, and it sells the only lifetime licence in the category. It also has a cost structure that a product page will never show you, because half of the money goes to a company that is not Awesome Golf.
Work out which half of the table your device sits in before you buy either one. A $699.99 Square and a $1,999.99 Bushnell are $1,300 apart on the shelf and roughly $500 a year apart forever after, in the same direction.
